Our Core Programs

Northern Vision CBO implements four flagship programs that address interconnected challenges of climate change, gender inequality, education gaps and peace and security. Healing circles and storytelling cut across all programs as core engagement and learning tools.

Climate Adaptation & Food Security

Goal: To strengthen community resilience to climate change through sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, ecosystem restoration, and locally led adaptation solutions.
  • Community Farm & Circular Economy Model learning center integrating solar-powered water pumping, fish farming (aquaculture), and Azolla breeding.
  • Regreening & Ecosystem Restoration Mobilizing communities for tree planting (indigenous and fruit trees) in schools and homesteads.
  • Renewable Energy Exploring solar and wind systems to improve energy access and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
Healing Circles: Used to co-design adaptation solutions, reflect on climate impacts, and strengthen community ownership.
